"As the Legacy Group builds its successful partnerships and our staff continues to flourish it became very apparent to ownership it was time to give back. The Legacy Group partners have a long standing history of creative and interactive initiatives, incorporating our team to benefit the less fortunate. We are more than excited to launch and develop our current charitable platform Legacy Cares. The goal is to partner with not-for-profit organizations that hit home to our employees and clientele to provide a selfless and team building experience for all parties involved."

Fall means it is time to head back to school for the kids, did you know that more than 16 Million kids cannot afford supplies for school? We were extremely honored to partner with The Kids in Need Foundation and completed our first Legacy Cares annual Back pack stuff. The Kids in Need Foundation is an incredible charity that focus on helping families who battle extreme poverty and helping them get the supplies and tools they need to set their children up for success.
No matter who you are or where you live, breast cancer may touch your life. Breast cancer is the most common cancer among women in the U.S. and around the world. In 2018, about 266,120 women will be diagnosed in the U.S. alone. Progress in treatment and early detection has led to improved survival for people of all ages and races, and with all stages of breast cancer. In fact, there are more than 3.5 million breast cancer survivors in the U.S. today (more than any other group of cancer survivors). October is national breast cancer awareness month, and to show our support we participated in a Pink day and for every employee who wore pink a donation was made to breast cancer research.
On behalf of the management team we would like to thank all the employees, friends and family that participated in this past weekends Legacy Cares event. As a result of our attendance we raised $1800 for Cystic Fibrosis research!
We should all be proud as a company for this opportunity to give back to a great cause and the team at Great Strides who sponsored the event have offered a most sincere THANK YOU! (https://fightcf.cff.org/site/SPageServer/?pagename=gs_homepage)
Legacy is proud to partner with “Give Kids the World Village”, an 84-acre, nonprofit “storybook” resort in Central Florida where children with life-threatening illnesses and their families are treated to weeklong, cost-free vacations.
The Village and its community partners provide children and their families accommodations in fully-furnished villas, transportation, tickets to theme parks, meals, daily entertainment and much more.
Each year 27,000 children in the United States are diagnosed with a life-threatening illness. Half of all children eligible for a wish through a partnering wish-granting organization choose to visit Central Florida and its collection of theme parks and other attractions.
The goal is to provide everything these deserving families need to make their trip the vacation of a lifetime. Since 1986, more than 154,000 children and families have had their dreams fulfilled in a whimsical Village unlike any other place on earth.
